KEYSTONE NOTE : There seems to be some confusion about the relationship of Keystone with the Federation of Pharmacy Networks (FPN). Keystone is one of 20 Buying Groups from throughout the country that represents over 12,000 Independent Pharmacies. It is because of these numbers that FPN can negotiate favorable contracts with Vendors servicing the entire United States. Other FPN affiliated buying groups in our area include IPA, Legend, ServAll & IPBG. There are many cases where a store MAY be a member of more than one buying group that is affiliated with FPN. FPN guidelines require those stores to declare which buying group will administer the FPN contracts for that store. Each store MUST designate to FPN, which group they want to administer the contracts listed below. By declaring Keystone to administer the FPN contracts, you are assured to receive the largest return of rebates either through your quarterly rebate checks or through Keystone's Year End disbursement calculated on a stores participation in all contracts. If you are a member of another buying group, it will not affect any of that groups other contracts (Wholesaler, Film Processing etc.) for which you are receiving rebates. It only affects your rebates on FPN administered contracts.
