Tell Us How DEA Rules Are Affecting Patients
NCPA is working as part of the Quality Care Coalition for Patients in Pain (QCCPP) to try to convince members of Congress that DEA rules and policies for prescribing and dispensing controlled drugs for patients in nursing homes and hospice care are harming patients and must be changed. We need your help to document real stories about real patients.
Have you seen firsthand how DEA policies cause patients to have pain medication delayed or even denied as a result of the nurse not being able to act as an agent of the prescriber? Please tell us. Click here to submit your incident report online. (You can also download the form in Word format by clicking here.) All information collected will be held in strictest confidence to the maximum extent possible.
We especially need stories from Wisconsin, Rhode Island, Texas, Oregon, Arkansas, Indiana, Florida, Pennsylvania, Colorado, New York, Minnesota, Tennessee, Alabama, Maine, Utah, Kansas, South Carolina, Georgia, California, Illinois, Maryland, Michigan, Delaware, Iowa, and Oklahoma.
