As of May 1, 2010, products in the repackaged form will no longer be accepted through Express Scripts.
The Express Scripts Manual (like other PBM's) reads:
ESI will not reimburse a Pharmacy at a higher AWP than the original manufacturer's product. ESI may, in its sole discretion, reduce reimbursement, reverse the entire claim and offset any monies owing to the Pharmacy against monies owed to ESI, or reverse and reprocess the claim using AWP for the original product as a basis for determining reimbursement.
