We are pleased to invite you to take part in a Web-based educational program on Preventing Influenza in Older Adults, moderated by David Greenberg, MD, Senior Director of Scientific and Medical Affairs, sanofi pasteur, and Corey Robertson, MD, MPH, FACP, Director of Scientific and Medical Affairs, sanofi pasteur.
The purpose of these sessions is to discuss the latest developments in influenza prevention and control and to explore new options and opportunities in protecting older adult patients against this life-threatening disease. The program will focus on the following:
- Influenza and its complications in the older adult population
- The impact and burden of influenza
- Expanded efforts to reach specific populations with influenza immunization
- The development of vaccines designed to enhance protection for older adults, who are at highest risk for seasonal influenza-related hospitalization, complications, and death
The program will be kept to 1 hour, which includes a formal presentation plus a live question and answer session.
