Caremark to Process Community CCRx Claims in 2012
Beginning January 1, 2012, all Community CCRx claims will be processed by Caremark. All members will be receiving new ID cards with a new BIN and PCN on the back. There will also be a new Rx Group for the members. The new BIN/PCN/RxGroup for Community CCRx will be as follows:
- BIN - 004336
- PCN - MEDDADV
- RxGroup - COMCCRX
Pharmacies that try to submit a 2012 claim using the current BIN and PCN will receive a rejection at the point of sale. Current Community CCRx members will be receiving the new ID cards early, so your patients may bring them into the pharmacy prior to the new year. Please continue to submit 2011 claims to Medco, and do not use the new card until January 1.
