Pharmacist Carter in Runoff for GOP Nomination to Georgia U.S. House Seat

NCPA member Buddy Carter finished first among six contenders for the Republican nomination in Georgia’s 1st congressional district. Carter took 36.2% of the vote in the May 20 primary. He’ll face Bob Johnson, a surgeon and ex-Army Ranger, who finished second with 22.7%, in the July 22 runoff. Carter has been a pharmacist for over 30 years and owns three pharmacies.
