Glaxosmithkline Recalls Alli

On March 27, 2014  GlaxoSmithKline (GSK) Consumer Healthcare issued a recall on all alli® weight loss products from U.S. and Puerto Rico retailers due to evidence that some of the packages have been tampered with.

Consumers in seven states reported purchasing bottles of alli® that did not contain the genuine medication, but rather an assortment of tablets and capsules of different shapes and colors. Also, some bottles inside the outer carton were missing  valid labels and had tamper-evident seals that were counterfeit.
