May Merchandising Tips

Make sure to post your Memorial Day hours in the store and stock up on change the weekend before as banks will be closed.

Time to refresh your foot care section. Try using a 3ft planogram in a 4ft space to allow room to cross merchandise diabetic and compression socks.

May is Lyme Disease, Allergy and Skin Cancer awareness month. Create a bag stuffer to remind customers of basic needs that you carry in store.

May is Arthritis awareness month. Ensure you have stock of Calcium, Vit D3, Glucosomine, Omega 3, & Tumeric.

April Pharmacy Tips

Review your vitamin lines. If you have multiple lines, do an evaluation as to what is selling vs not.
Increase profits by featuring high end vitamins. Feature Multi-vitamin, CoQ10, B12 methylcobalamin, and immune booster with price point over $20. Sign with “Our Pharmacist Recommends”
Format Banners like a Billboard–Simple is best. If under low lighting, use a black background with white lettering.
Place the most requested OTCs behind the RX pickup area. That will make it easier to add in requested products before bringing to the customer.
Remind patients that their FSA or HSA can be used for OTC and Menstrual products
Allergy season is underway. Ensure you have adequate supply of allergy meds, tissues, nasal sprays
